One Resolution

Honestly, I have been thinking about making some resolutions this year - I never do them. Generally I think it pathetic how people decide to lose weight and whatnot the beginning of the year. However, I was thinking about my sister's goals from last year and how she actually had some worthwhile goals and accomplished them.

Blah, blah, blah. My point is: I have decided to run another half marathon - this time for a good cause. You know, I don't like running, but it feels good to have a reason to run. So, my sister and I will be running the Salt Lake half marathon in April for cancer research.

Please see my webpage to make donations and to see how much money has been raised for this great cause. For your information, I need to raise $500 - obviously this will take a group effort! The donations need to be made by April 3, 2009. Donations can be made directly on the webpage or you can get money to me some other way. All donations are tax deductible.

Honestly, I feel very excited to run for this cause. I was thinking about it and cancer has probably effected us all in some way - whether us personally or a loved one - and together we can make a difference for the future.

Thank you for helping me accomplish this goal.

Awesome Bets!
I'm so glad we're doing this together this year, it's going to be awesome! Oh and our team name, wow! We'll keep that a little secret for now.
Hey, you could put a link out to the side of your blog with the webpage for the cancer research fundraising, that way it'll always be on top and people won't have to find this post to donate. :)
Love you!

Bettie -

It was a nice treat to see you the other day, although it was for only two seconds! If you're still in SLC, come by the Mammut booth and we can catch up a bit more. If i'm busy, just get my attention and i'll make some time to chat it up with you!

Thanks for sayiing hi, i was pretty occupied and likely wouldn't have even looked up... so thanks, it was cool to see you.
